Supporting schools: 

Curriculum:

GGS provides guidance and expertise on curriculum development and instruction. We assist schools with creating framework to build a successfully functioning geography department- including lesson plans and activities that align with educational standards and are appropriate for the age and ability level of the students. 

Teaching:

We provide professional development for teachers to help them improve their teaching of geography and integrate technology into the curriculum. Additionally, we can help to identify and acquire resources such as maps, globes, and software that can be used to enhance the teaching of geography. 

Virtual learning:

We offer distance teaching to schools where the face to face delivery of the curriculum might be difficult due to staffing or financial reasons.  

Field trips:

We also help to coordinate field trips, guest speakers and project-based learning opportunities to give students a hands-on experience with geography both locally and internationally.
